That’s right, we just launched a new, improved version of SocialSite, the CMS for the social web from Thingfo. First, we made the service faster and added more traffic capacity, to support our growing user base.
And because so many of our users manage more than one site, brand, or persona, we’ve added a key piece [...]

Yet another great website has started using SocialSite!
OK, first - you might not have checked out FORA.tv yet, so if you have some free time please just click that link there and come back after you’ve explored a bit. It will take a bit to get decent taste, though, so if you want to wait [...]
I really dig the range of groups and people that use SocialSite widgets. On my last post I wrote about the Sacramento Kings, and the latest site to come to my attention seems (granted, in a shallow, stereotypical kind of way) the exact opposite: civilibrarian.com. From jocks to nerds, everyone loves SocialSite!

But I can’t stop myself: this widget is a slam dunk!
I’ll hold back now.
Seriously, though, what a widget.
The Kings have taken their purple-and-white colors and stuck them on one of our SocialSite Widgets, and I think the result is outstanding. The Kings are definitely ahead of the pack here (kind of a basketball [...]
Scientists have discovered hundreds of Earths, our brains have a “memory switch”, DNA encryption will save our secrets and pollution-fighting Robo Fish will save the oceans.
That’s just today’s news on The Daily Galaxy .
Covering the awesomest cutting-edge science clearly and with a great dose of enthusiasm, this awesome blog custom-made themselves one of our [...]
During President Obama’s first address to a joint session of Congress, ABC News featured our SocialSite system on their main and politics pages. During the historic address, which dealt primarily with Obama’s plans to deal with the current economic crisis, a prominent SocialSite widget followed all the Twittering about the speech. We think this shows [...]
We’ve gotten a lot of pings about the amazingly awesome 24HoursAtSundance, which featured Thingfo widgets for the whole contest as well as for Asthon Kutcher, Kevin Rose, Irina Slutsky, Cj Peters, Meghan Asha, Matt Marshall & Shira Lazar to name, oh…. all the web luminaries involved in that event. Speaking of web luminaries, I thought I’d [...]
Greetings web2.0 widget fans!
We’ve got a great new badge available today that taps into the immense excitement building up to Barack Obama’s inauguration.
“A New Birth of Freedom”, as it’s named, falls on January 20th, and our Inauguration widget will happily track the Web’s excitement over the historic event.
SocialSite: Barack Obama Inauguration 2009 Widget follows the [...]
Yesterday at MashupCamp2008 in Mountain View, Thingfo won Elfenworks “Best Social Justice Mashup”. The contest entry was the SocialSite app, which we used to create a Poverty Awareness badge and a new info page to go along with it, and hopefully help it spread. Here’s the widget, which links to a page where you can get [...]
Just read a post on Mashable about Wildfire widgets, so using some Twitter keywords, Delicious bookmarks, Flickr and YouTube tags, updates from InciWeb, I made a California Wildfire Tracker Widget using SocialSite. Took me about 4 minutes to tweak the keywords and get great results.
To put this social news widget for tracking the CA Wildfires on [...]
